PEGDRUMS Music presents: IN-SCHOOL PERFORMANCE PROGRAMS
Target Audience:
Middle- and High School students in the school music program
This quartet centers its performance around Claude Bolling's iconic work "Suite for Flute & Jazz Piano", then fills out the program with shorter jazzed-up classical numbers. The sophisticated and captivating blend of jazz/classical styles, as well as the precision counterpoint between instruments, will broaden the student musical perspective considerably. Most have probably never heard anything quite like this!
Quatuor performs both at area schools and concert venues. School performances normally include time for a short Q&A between students and the musicians, but a more in-depth clinic session can also be arranged.
